I have just found a genuine rac logged road going 6R4 sitting in the middle of no-where in someones feild. i almost crashed when seeing it and thought it must have been a kit. though on further inspection i have realised it is genuine. i posted a letter through the guy’s door requesting to but it. though had no reply. i did return to the house where i did actually get a hold of the fellow. Turns out that he got it in his uncle’s will. it was driven to the feild and left for the last 7 years. i didn’t know anything about it and is not mechanically minded. he has RAC docs and was wwlling to sell it to me for a very reasonable price. it needs a fair bit of work and as you would expect from it sitting for the last 7 years. is slightly coroded on the reas sub frame, disks, calipers, wiring is in no doubt needing replaced, bucket seats are demolished, bulk-head is worse for wear too. i have worked on 6r4’s before and know what money is involved in buying parts for these. what kind of money do you think this would be worth in it’s current condition? It is a 2.5 v6 whitch would also need painted and i assume a full strip and re-build. though i have seen these cars for anything from 45k -80k in good condition. though this one is far from that. if you could maybe help. my number is 07593814232. i’d really appreciate it.
thank you all

I have been rebuilding a clubman 6R4 3.0 litre spec, all the parts are available for the cars, if you have the engine and gearbox complete then the rest is just finding the parts to replace the knackered ones. Engine, gearbox & diffs rebuild. best bet is John Manklow at Goodmans racing engines Daventry, suspension refurb Bilsteins in Leicester. seats can be recoverd by Corbeau. the list is endless it just requires some time finding who does what.
